Agglomerated basic-aluminate flux suitable for joint welding of low-alloy structural steels (Y.S. up to 420 MPa), pipe steels, boiler steels and fine-grain steels with Y.S. < 420 MPa. A typical characteristic of this flux is slag detachability, even in narrow-groove welds of thick-walled sections.

Agglomerated fluoride-basic flux with a high basicity index and low levels of impurities such as Sulphur and Phosphorus. Thanks to weld deposits with low oxygen values, uniform mechanical properties are achieved with high toughness values at low temperatures down to -60°C. Due to the near-neutral slag reactions, the chemical analysis can be fully controlled through an appropriate choice of welding wire. SID FL A AF is suitable for welding in both AC and DC, for use in single-wire and multi-wire processes, for butt and fillet welds.
